ReHope CEO to Speak on the Critical Role Men Play in Combating Human Trafficking
ReHope CEO Jason Alvis will challenge men to become part of the solution in the fight against human trafficking during Freedom Fridays on Friday, July 10, at New Life CityChurch in downtown Kansas City.
Hosted in partnership with Exodus Cry, the evening will bring together worship, teaching, and community engagement to raise awareness about human trafficking and inspire meaningful action.
Following worship led by the New Life CityChurch Worship Team, Alvis will present “The Call for Men to Join the Fight Against Trafficking,” a message highlighting the unique role men can play in preventing exploitation, supporting survivors, and helping communities confront one of the fastest-growing criminal enterprises in the world.
“Ending human trafficking requires all of us,” said Alvis. “Men have a powerful opportunity to stand against exploitation, protect the vulnerable, and help restore hope for survivors.”
ReHope is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering and elevating survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation through trauma-informed residential recovery programs and comprehensive support services. The organization works alongside law enforcement, churches, community organizations, and volunteers to help women move from crisis to restoration, independence, and lives that thrive.
Freedom Fridays is designed to equip individuals with a deeper understanding of human trafficking while encouraging practical ways to engage in prevention, advocacy, and survivor support.
The event is free and open to the public.
